Okay, this is going to be a slightly whiny post so if you want to stop reading, do so now. You may or may not know that we are managers over 6 duplexes. The owners have been renting for the past few years and are now selling them as individual condos. Because of this, many of the tenants are moving out as they don't want to buy the unit they live in. That part is fine. What is not fine is that people are slobs and don't clean when they leave! We have spent over 20 hours this past week cleaning 1 unit. It was a single lady who lived there so we didn't think it could be too bad. Man were we wrong! Every evening we spent hours cleaning her grossness only to come home exhauted and ready for bed. Do you think I have done anything to my own home this week?? NOPE! That condo now looks great while mine has lots of work to be done. Next week we get to start on another unit that is now empty and someone else is moving out the week after. Now I can't complain too much...because we do this work we live in a great place for a great price. That part is wonderful. I just want to pay someone to come and clean my own house now because I am tired of cleaning! And Kelsi woke up throwing up last night...she did manage to make it to the bathroom but got everything in there pretty yucky. So I ask, does it ever end??? I just need a break!

Mom's scrapbook calendar
My sister started a tradition years ago when she was the only one with children. Each year she would make a scrapbook style calendar for my mother with pages of her adorable children. We have now added many grandchildren to the family and the tradition holds strong. We also put fun dates on the calendar. There are birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. But there are also things like the first time a grandchild crawled or walked. It's getting fuller and fuller with dates each year! This year this was my favorite page that I made for my mom:

This is Aimee and me this past weekend, at her wedding! Isn't she beautiful?? Aimee and I were pretty inseperable for the last 2 years of high school. If you saw me, she was right there. After graduation I was off to Rexburg and she stayed home. Over the past 11 years we have never lived close to one another again, but have tried to keep in contact with each other. I am so glad that I could share this special day with her!! And it was about time...I am celebrating my 9th wedding anniversary this summer! :)

This is Kelsi and Kennedy. They have been friends since they were babies! One of the best things about moving back to Yakima for Kelsi was Kennedy!!! They also happen to be the two tallest girls in their class! :) There is nothing greater than a best friend, especially when you are six years old!

I am an original!!!
I saw this cool thing on someone else's blog and had to try it. Give it a try and see how many people there are with your name in the US!! There are 119 David Button's and 27 Andrew Button's. No other Kelsi's though. Apparently only our girl names are original!!

Kelsi's First Fishing Experience
Her first fish!!
The second fish...lovely, huh!The parks and rec department here holds an annual "Fishing For Kids" day. They stock a pond with 4000 trout and children can come and go fishing. You have to sign up for a time slot and pay the $5 fee...in return you get a t-shirt, a great fishing rod, some other goodies and the chance to catch up to 2 fish in half an hour. We signed Kelsi up this year (Andrew wasn't old enough) and she got to go with her dad. She had the first time slot, so we were hoping the fish would be hungry!! She was a pro and caught two fish pretty quickly. Now she wants to go out with Grandpa on his boat and try again. I now have two frozen fish in my freezer that I am not quite sure what to do with. They did have people there to clean and gut the fish before they were brought home...thank you to whoever spent the day doing that fun job so the moms didn't have to when the kids got home!!

Poor Poor Me!
